The most valuable football Brands 2012



Recently, the world’s leading brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance Plc has released their 2012 Edition’s Football Brand report, the English giant Manchester United football club remains the world’s most valuable club at USD 853 Million deposit a disappointing season on the pitch. 

After the Red Evil, FC Bayern Munich set on the second positon of the rankings, by its strong brand domestically to generate the largest commercial revenue in football world, the brand value of the German giant is estimated at USD 786 Million. 



With its first ever Champion League trophy, FC Chelsea enjoyed a 27% increase of their brand value, and hold onto the 5th of this years report with a brand value at USD 398 Million, just ahead its London rivalry FC Arsenal. 



Within the top 20, England Premier League got eight clubs entered, while Bundesliga clubs took up four positions, Italy got three clubs on the top 20, France and Spanish BBVA Liga both got two clubs, Netherlands got Ajax entered the top 20.

The most valuable brand of football club outside Europe is the Brazilian Football Club Corinthians, who has just collected their second FIFA Club World Cup trophy recently, with a brand value of USD 77 Million at the 24th position. 

The Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande ranked at the top of all Asian clubs, with a brand value at USD 65 Million, on the 35th of the world. The most valuable brand of Association football club in the North America is Los Angeles Galaxy, at a value of USD 46 Million and on the 50th of the world.
