More sports on snow and grass
Will he score against his old club? |
Only
yesterday we did have time to rest from previous sport events such as the World
Championships in Alpine Skiing and Biathlon. Already today, Tuesday February 19th,
we can watch some great football matches between Arsenal and Bayern Munich as
well as between Porto and Malaga. On
Wednesday there are more Champions League matches: Galatasaray vs. Schalke and
Milan vs. Barcelona. My predictions on these matches are wins for Bayern Munich
and Barcelona and draws at the other two matches. Any different thoughts?
Let’s stay
on the grass: this weekend round 3 of the 2013 Six Nations Championship is
taking place with two matches on Saturday:
Italy vs. Wales and England vs. France.
The favourites for these matches are Wales and England, but who knows
what the other two teams are able to do on Saturday? The last game of round 3
is between Scotland and Ireland, on Sunday afternoon. This should be the most
exciting match of all three as both teams seem to be equally good!
Beautiful scenery in Val die Fiemme |
If you feel like spring has already started, that does not count for sports. With the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 starting on Wednesday in Val di Fiemme,
Italy, there is more winter sports for another 1.5 weeks. There will be championships in Cross Country,
Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined (first ski jumping followed by cross country
skiing). My favourites for the different disciplines are:
- Cross Country: Justyina Kowalczyk & Dario Cologna
- Ski Jumping: Sara Takanashi & Gregor Schlierenzauer
- Nordic Combined: Erik Frenzel & Jason Lamy Chappuis
Enjoy another great week of sports and come and

Why not Arsenal with Lukas Podolski? He scores when he wants!
ReplyDeleteWell I guess it is going to be hard for Arsenal to score as Bayern has such a great defense: only 7 goals against in 22 Bundesliga matches!!
ReplyDeleteMK you were right: Poldi scored. Still Bayern was too strong for Arsenal. Looking forward to the match in Munich!
